SMI was founded in Lyon in 1985, for 37 years we have specialized in the production and transformation of insulating materials intended for heat insulators, industries and smoke makers.

We now offer various insulation solutions for thermal and acoustic insulation in many fields of activity: nuclear, process, HVAC, storage, marine, etc.

We work in partnership with leading companies on the insulation market: Rockwool, Knauf, Isover, Sagi, Brauder, ... It is thanks to a know-how acquired since 1985 that we offer our customers the best insulating materials.

Our company provides several thermal and acoustic insulation solutions for thermal insulation: rock wool based insulation, glass mineral wool, elastomeric foam (FEF), Phenolic foam (PF), Polyisocyanurate (PIR), Extruded polystyrene ( XPS) and cellular glass (CG).

Our range of insulation is made of materials resistant to extreme temperatures from -200 ° C to + 1400 ° C.
